Refund Policy

At Journey to STEAM, we strive to provide enriching and enjoyable experiences for all participants in our programs. We understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate cancellations or refunds, and we aim to balance the needs of our customers with the health of our business. The following refund policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for cancellations and refunds:

    • Cancellation Period:
        • Participants may cancel their registration and request a refund up to 14 days before the start date of the program for a full refund, minus any non-refundable administrative fees. 
        • A non-refundable administrative fee of $35 will be deducted from all refunds to cover processing costs and administrative overhead.
    • Refund Amount:
        • Refunds requested within the cancellation period will be issued in full, minus any applicable administrative fees. A non-refundable administrative fee of $35 will be deducted from all refunds to cover processing costs and administrative overhead.
        • Refunds requested after the cancellation period will be subject to a partial refund, determined based on the proximity to the start date of the program and any unrecoverable costs incurred by Journey to STEAM.
    • Administrative Fees:
        • A non-refundable administrative fee of $35 will be deducted from all refunds to cover processing costs and administrative overhead.

Late Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made within 14 days but more than 7 days before the start date of the program will be eligible for a partial refund of 50% of the total program fee.
    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date of the program will not be eligible for a refund, and the full program fee will be retained by Journey to STEAM to cover incurred costs and reserved space that could have been allocated to another participant.
    • Medical Emergencies:
        • In the event of a documented medical emergency that prevents participation in the program, participants may request a refund. Documentation from a qualified medical professional may be required, and refunds will be issued on a case-by-case basis.
    • Non-Attendance:
        • Participants who fail to attend the program without prior notification will not be eligible for a refund.
    • Transferability:
        • Registrations are transferable to another individual upon request, provided the request is made at least 7 days before the start date of the program. Any administrative fees associated with the transfer will be the responsibility of the participant.
    • Request Process:
        • To request a refund, participants or their guardians must contact Journey to STEAM via email at refunds@journeytosteam.com. Please include the participant’s name, program details, reason for the refund request, and any relevant documentation.
      • Processing Time:
          • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the refund request. Please allow additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on the payment method and financial institution.
      • Exceptions:
        • Journey to STEAM reserves the right to make exceptions to this refund policy in extenuating circumstances or emergencies, as determined by the management team.

By registering for our programs, participants and their guardians acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms of this refund policy.
