What is Journey to STEAM, and what programs do you offer?
Journey to STEAM is an innovative education provider offering a diverse range of engaging and customizable LEGO programs spanning science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) for parents seeking enriching after-school experiences, organizations aiming to enhance community engagement, and schools dedicated to fostering holistic learning.
What age groups do your programs cater to?
Our programs are designed for elementary and middle-school students (grades K-8). However, we can adapt our offerings for different age groups based on your organization’s requirements.
Where are your programs and camps located?
Our programs are conveniently hosted at elementary schools across Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties in Oregon, as well as in Clark County, Washington. Our camps are located in elementary and middle schools and community centers.
How long do the programs and camps run, and how often do they meet?
Our programs consist of 8 sessions, meeting once a week. The duration of each session is 1 hour. Camp sessions are 3-4 hours, and meet for one week.
How can I register my child for a program or camp?
Registration varies between programs. Mostly, registration will take place directly through our website. Some schools prefer to manage registration through their school or school district. Some community organizations also prefer direct registration through their websites. Details for registration for each of our programs and camps are available on our website and social media.
What safety measures do you have in place for participants?
At Journey to STEAM, the safety of your child is our top priority. We uphold strict safety guidelines and protocols. Our instructors are trained to create a secure and supportive environment. Additionally, all our instructors undergo thorough background checks.
